UPPER SCHOOL CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Co-curriculars are a large part of the WCS experience for our Upper School students. Students have a huge range of clubs and student organizations to engage with. Students are required to take one Fine Arts class to graduate, but most students take between four and six throughout their Upper School experience.

Students can take Band, Choir, Drama, Drawing and Painting, Sculpture, and Pre-AP Portfolio as well as Photography, Video, and Digital Imaging. We also have a dynamic and award-winning Debate and Forensics program that competes at both State and National levels.

Robotics and Wizards are two popular science clubs for students. Members of the Robotics team build their own robots and compete at different events. The Wizards perform science experiments at local schools to increase enthusiasm about science for younger students.

One of the most popular and meaningful clubs at WCS is the Pro Humanitate Club. Members of “ProH” plan and participate in community service projects at school and in the community. WCS students are not required to complete community service credits for graduation, they do it for the simple joy of helping others and engaging in their community.
