Admission Timeline for the 2027-28 Academic Year
Although Wichita Collegiate School offers admission to qualified students on a rolling basis, please be aware of the following priority deadlines for admissions. Students who have completed admissions files by the dates listed below will be given first consideration in the admissions process.
Entering Early Childhood: Friday, February 5
Entering Grades 1-12: Monday, February 22
| Admissions Assessment for Preschool and Prekindergarten Applicants |
| Admissions Assessment for Great Beginnings Applicants Students applying for our Great Beginnings program will have a time scheduled with an Early Childhood teacher to complete their evaluation on either Wednesday, March 24, 2027 or Thursday, March 25, 2027. We will begin notifying families of admission on April 1. |
| Admissions Assessment for Preschool and Prekindergarten Applicants |
| Students applying for preschool or prekindergarten will have a time scheduled with an Early Childhood teacher to complete their evaluation on Saturday, February 20, 2027. We will begin notifying families of admission on March 1. |
| Admissions Assessment for Kindergarten Applicants |
| Families with a kindergarten application on file will be contacted beginning in January to schedule their one-on-one appointments to meet with Head of Early Childhood Becky O'Hearn to complete our kindergarten readiness assessment. We will begin notifying families of admission on March 1. |
| Admissions Assessment for Grades 1-12 |
| Students seeking admission to Wichita Collegiate School in Grades 1-12 must complete an admissions assessment. Please register for a date here. If none of the listed dates work, please contact Director of Community Engagement Kathy Rukes (krukes@wcsks.com) to find another date and time. We will begin notifying families of admission on March 1. |
