Introduction to Spanish, age 12-Adult

Spend some time this semester getting your feet wet in Spanish!  This course emphasizes learning Spanish by rich comprehensive input--you will not be subjected to listening to a foreign language and not understand anything--you will be able to comprehend what is being said!!  High frequency vocabulary words will be learned in context rather than memorizing long vocabulary lists.  The class is highly interactive--you will be reading, writing, listening, and speaking.  I will do my best to vary the activities and maintain a good pace to keep you far removed from boredom and sleepiness.  You can participate a lot or a little--however you're most comfortable.  My goal for this course is for you to have fun learning Spanish and be motivated to continue studying!
