As director of Summer Explorations, I have the pleasure of seeing all the camps in action. Personally, I enjoy seeing the kids having such a great time with their camp experience. And as an educator, it’s thrilling to see children learn and thrive in such an environment. So why should you send your child to summer camp?

The Storyline Method is fun and engaging for both students and teachers alike. We are already looking towards future Storyline journeys in each grade in Lower School that will take our students on new adventures while teaching them about reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and the importance of teamwork.

Raising global citizens is a task that at Wichita Collegiate School we do not consider optional. We believe it is our duty to graduate students who have been exposed to other cultures, ideas, and languages, and who understand that a world outside of Wichita, Kansas and the United States exists.
Clare Vanderpool always knew she wanted to be a writer. With much encouragement from her teachers, Vanderpool kept working to refine her style and voice. That work paid off when her first novel, Moon Over Manifest, was published in October of 2010, and won the John Newbery Medal in 2011.
