In 2007, Wichita Collegiate School was invited to partner with Duke University to serve as a site for the Duke Talent Identification Program (TIP).

The mission of the Duke TIP program is to identify gifted children and provide resources that will help them reach their potential. WCS hosts Saturday Academic Adventures for gifted and talented 5th and 6th graders from all over Kansas and Oklahoma on several weekends throughout the year for students who qualify and sign up for the Duke TIP program. Classes have included Mini Med School, Robotics, Special Agent Investigations, Moviemaking, and Game Design. Children are identified for the program as part of the 4th-6th Grade Talent Search.
