Wichita Collegiate Upper School is an intellectually vibrant high school for grades nine through twelve.

Our commitment is to provide a multi-dimensional education. With every lesson, every assignment, and every class, our goal is to prepare students for more than just the next grade; we strive to prepare them for life in the global world and in the conceptual age.

Each student brings unique talents and interests to the Upper School. Our priority is to nurture each student’s individuality by providing an educational platform from which he or she can expand knowledge, broaden horizons, and fulfill dreams.

All students are expected to perform at a high level in our college-prep curriculum. Along with those expectations comes a high level of support. Academic teachers are available before school and after school for tutorials. Rehearsals, practices, and clubs are not allowed to begin until tutorial period has ended, which allows all students the opportunity to seek help.

With 18 Advanced Placement courses, we have the ability to meet students where they are — including the most advanced — and continue their learning. We routinely offer math classes beyond BC Calculus and offer a unique experience, Chemistry Research, for qualified students who have completed AP Chemistry. This course allows Upper School students to experience a level of research and publication that is typically not available until college or beyond.
