Joining the Booster Club at Wichita Collegiate School is a great way to get involved.

The mission of the Booster Club is “to benefit every student at Wichita Collegiate School and to increase spirit in the Wichita Collegiate School Community.”

The Booster Club consists of WCS parents and friends who are committed to supporting the many extracurricular activities offered at WCS as well as many projects around and outside of the school that promise to enhance our children’s growth and improve the school community. The Booster Club Board meets monthly to consider funding requests and discuss upcoming activities. Our income comes from membership dues, activity program ads, concession stand sales, and Shirt Shack sales (in partnership with CAP). This money funds many different activities/groups around campus. Here are a few examples: 

• Financial support for each school division to use at their own discretion.
• Financial support for every school extracurricular activity (Sports, Debate, Scholar’s Bowl, etc...)
• Athlete of the Month awards for Middle School students
• Goodwill Angels (used to recognize faculty and staff several times during the year)
• Homecoming activities

Every year the administration, parents and faculty present an array of worthwhile projects for our consideration. Recent projects the Booster Club has funded include:

• Funding for new playground equipment by multi-purpose room
• Traveling suits for both boys and girls US Basketball teams
• New tables and chairs for the “benches” in the middle school gyms
• Additional display cases for State championship Trophies
• Contribution to The Promise Campaign
• Funding for Pep Rallies
• Poetic Justice publication
• Hemisphere publication
