Wichita Collegiate School is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS), a distinction that WCS has maintained since our founding in 1963. ISAS is a regional body that consists of 82 independent schools in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico. This Association requires a rigorous admission process and an equally strenuous review procedure every ten years. The accreditation process entails a visit from educators from member schools who evaluate the school in their area of expertise. This visitation normally takes three days and it concludes a year-long self-study. We submit an updated documentation of responses to the study and adherence to standards at four and seven-year intervals. ( Click on this link for more information about ISAS.)

The Board of Trustees is responsible for the fiscal stability of the school and the appointment and evaluation of the Headmaster.
