Wichita Collegiate School is a child-centered school with a positive and energetic atmosphere in which the students are focused on learning, doing their best, being good citizens, and being highly involved in school activities. Our students begin their college preparation at age two while actively recognizing the educational value of discovery through play, and continue in a purposeful, carefully sequenced program culminating with acceptance in the university of their choice. The following are some of the results enjoyed by WCS students:
- The Class of 2018 included 3 National Merit Finalists and 4 National Merit Commended students; 9% of the class
- Over $9 million in merit-based college scholarships were awarded to the 77 members of the Class of 2018
- 86% of seniors were offered college scholarships based on their academic excellence, civic engagement, and ability to articulate their goals and aspirations
"Collegiate is a school I woke up excited to go to every day."
