Creative Movement with Parts of Speech - (Students learn to move creatively when putting together a verb, adverb, and preposition.)

Routine: "Grandma's Feather Bed" circle dance - (This is a simple circle dance that can be done in either a larger or small group.  It uses basic square dance skills.)

Routine: "Hello" plastic hand clapper routine - (This fun routine uses the plastic hand clappers from the Oriental Trading Company. It is a fun routine to open any program.)

Routine: God Bless the USA sparkle wand routine - (Patriotic routine with wands made from different colors of holiday tinsel twisted together with a pipe cleaner and glued inside a hangar tube.)

Routine: "You Raise Me Up" scarf routine - (This routine is done with colorful juggling scarves and makes a very stunning performance for parents, grandparents or other special guests.)

Routine: "Part of the Heart of the Sky" parachute routine - (This routine is about a caterpillar changing into a butterfly. Students emerge from underneath the parachute with colorful juggling scarves as wings.)

Routine: "Let Them Be Little" parachute routine - (This song is beautiful and very emotional. It works great for this parachute routine.)

Routine: "If We Didn't Have Colors" parachute routine - (This routine can be very effective if you use many different colors of small parachutes. This is a simple routine perfect for kindergarten students.)

Routine: Panel Chute Routine to "When You Smile" - (Panel chutes are long strips of fabric with handles on the ends. Partners share the panel chute and lift it in various ways, much like a parachute.)

Routine: "Mony Mony" Aerobic Routine - (This aerobic routine combines exercises with locomotor skills.)

Routine: "Eye of the Tiger" ball routine - (The driving beat of this song makes it perfect for ball skills like dribbling, passing, catching, and pivoting.)

Routine: "Heal the World" balloon routine - (Ordering blue and green world balloons on-line will make this routine absolutely stunning and very emotional.)

Routine: "Crawfish" Dance Routine - (This simple dance routine is fun to do using homemade paper headbands that look like a crab - or order a crab hat from Oriental Trading.)

Routine: "How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You" Dance Routine - (This playful routine does a lot of "play acting" to the words of the song but, yet, still keeps students moving. Grandparent's enjoyed this routine.)

Routine:" I'm From The Country" Dance Routine - (This is a fun dance that combines both square dance and line dance moves.)

Routine: "Tony Chestnut" words and actions - (This document gives explanations of my classroom procedures and also shares some of my favorite teaching rhymes.)

Routines: Movement Activities to Music  - (Some of these activities are great for audience participation.  PE programs, sharing days, or special meetings can be livened up with these activities.)

Routine: "Boom da Boom" lummi stick or half noodle routine - (This colorful routine uses foam swim noodles that are cut in half. Each child gets two half noodles to use as lummi sticks.)

Routine: "We Are Family" lummi stick or half noodle routine - (This routine can be used with either piece of equipment and would be fun for a special program for parents or grandparents.)

Routine: "New Attitude" Lummi Stick Routine - (This routine is more advanced and combines both stand up and sit down actions.)

Exercise Bingo Game - (This is a great game to get students moving. I sometimes call it "stick man" bingo because students get to draw stick men.)

Tell me I forget proverb - (This saying hangs above my office desk.)

Healthy or Unhealthy throwing game - (This activity has students working on underhand or overhand throwing depending upon whether a specific card shows a healthy or unhealthy habit.)

Hoop it up with the Food Pyramid game - (Start teaching children the basics of the food pyramid by using this fun game.)
